The Slit Lamp redefined

Dr Sunil Mamtora is an Ophthalmologist at the Bristol Eye Hospital and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol. Dr Mamtora's special interests are cataract surgery, medical education, slit lamp imaging, and emergency eye care. He is passionate about training and education and was the previous chair of the ophthalmologists' training group at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. Dr Mamtora regularly delivers training courses on both basic and advanced slit-lamp use as well as slit-lamp imaging. His current main focus of research interest is centred around how slit lamp imaging can be used to enhance patient care and bridge the interface between primary and secondary eye care.
